Description

Danny Lowndes

Danny started playing guitar at about 10 years old, after listening to the music his parent’s enjoyed such as Buddy Holly & The Crickets, Chuck Berry, The Shadows, The Animals, The Rolling Stones and The Beatles.

Danny found his passion with the guitar through Blues guitar legends who inspired him to play such as BB King, Albert Collins

Albert King and Buddy Guy in his early teens.

He was in his first band at 12 and was gigging regularly at 14. By his late teens he moved into other areas of music such as rock, funk

and reggae. By his early 30's, Jazz and Swing began to captivate him and he began to learn about Django Reinhardt and the Gypsy

Swing music, which has inspired him to this day.

Danny has played on stages all over the U.K and Europe from iconic venues such as the Royal Albert Hall - London, L’Elyseee

Monmatre - Paris, Grand Auditorium Louis Lumière - Cannes and has been featured on BBC Radio Extra 1, BBC Radio Sheffield,

and has recorded at BBC Maida Vale studios in London.
